VOLUNTEERING & TOURISM IN PERU

VOLUNTOURISM

A combination of

VOLUNTEERING & TOURISM

Help Others While Exploring Peru

VOLUNTOURISM IN PERU

Mama Pacha Explorations has cultivated partnerships across the US and Peru with companies and locally-owned providers who are deeply committed to community service, environmental friendliness, and sustainable development. Through these partnerships we have developed Voluntourism Programs that are specially designed to help people explore Peru while helping others at the same time.

What is Voluntourism?

Put simply, voluntourism is traveling to Peru and volunteering your time and skills to an organization or a cause. Through our volunteer & tourism programs participants will not only help people and causes directly, but will have a golden and rare opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the culture, explore places which are often overlooked or off the beaten path, and visit with people where they live, go to school and work.

So what voluntourism programs do is turn your vacation into a culturally and spiritually enriching experience. Participants explore the natural, cultural & historical beauty of Peru while helping others in need.

"We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community... Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own."
